Hon. Zotawon Titus was appointed Commissioner of the Department of International Gateway Services with oversight of Top Level Domain and Cyber Security by President George Manneh Weah in 2018.
Prior to this appointment, Commissioner Titus served as Deputy Minister in charge of ICT Policy at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication and Special Assistant to the Minister from 2012 – 2017. His responsibilities included contextualizing global policy and regulatory trends in a national context. Commissioner Titus is a National Telecommunications Public Policy Developer and Analyst with over 10 year experience as a Public Sector professional. His body of work includes published studies on national policy issues.
Hon Titus received specialized training in Regulatory Affairs from the U.S. Telecommunication Training Institute (USTTI) in Washington D.C. he has a B.Sc. GCPP, and MPP from Flinders University, Australia and a B.Sc. in Economics and Sociology from the University of Liberia.
